I was trained initially as a teacher and worked in the field of education and training of children and adults for 10 years. I then trained as a person-centred counsellor at Metanoia Institute in Ealing. Since qualifying in 1998 I have worked in the fields of education, health and in private practice. I have worked as a supervisor at Childline and at the Paul D'Auria Cancer Support Centre Paul D'Auria Cancer Support centre

I abide by the BACP Code of Ethics and am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Therapy.
My approach is fundamentally person-centred, although I have also done some systemic and transpersonal training. This kind of counselling places great emphasis on providing a safe, empathic, non-judgemental space for clients to discuss whatever they need to explore.
